Level & Body only

Anyone have an 04+ with just a 2.5 level and a 3" body. Please post some pics, couldn't find jack doing a search. Did see some good pics of just leveled on 35's; but none with 3" body.

Just put my 35's (Toyo A/T's) on my stock suspension FX4 (yeah they'll fit, with minor fender trimming). I'm ordering the AS Level kit immediately however don't know if I should waste my time & money on the 3" body or just save $ for a real 6" or 8" kit.

Another ? is for those who have installed their own level kit, do you take it in for alignment afterwards, I'm a die hard DIY and just want to make the necessary precautions, because I also don't want to F*&k anything up either.

Thanks for the input, love this site!

We have a couple members with body lifts. Hopefully they will see this.
And yes, you need an alignment after installing a leveling kit.

Thanks for the input, very much appreciated. Gray Ghost, your truck looks great ! Now I have to ask what kind/brand of bar is that and can I get one in black !?

My concern about a body lift was that a bull bar wouldn't look the same since the tow hooks would remain lower as the body is lifted. After seeing this bar I could care less about a bull bar.

How big of a pain is installing a 3" PA body lift? I currently have 35's with a 2" AS and 2" pro-comp AAL in the rear....could I fit 37's with the body lift? Have you seen anyone do this?

thanks,

matt

I've heard body lifts are a PITA on the 04-08's. I don't think you would be able to fit 37's if you add a body lift. THe only way to do it would be to use the OEM wheels (or something almost identical) and the rubbing on the control arms at full steering lock would be terrible.
