ive got some questions. how much does a 6in lift with say,35's affect your mpg with the 5.4?
will the edge evolution help this at all?

I have a 2003 5.4 with a 3inch body lift and 35s and im getting roughly 11mpg. Edge could help, but probably wont because your gained performance will make your foot get a little heavy.

Your mpg will decrease.

Seriously though, MPG varys GREATLY between trucks. I use to get 15 mpg in my 2004 F150 with 35s. Now I only get 12.X in my 2006 on 37s.

I'm averaging just over 13 mpg running premium, 6" SkyJacker, 37s, 3.73 gears, SuperChips programmer set for towing. The programmer helps, you have to know how to not lay in the pedal.

Mileage didn't change much from 3" and 33s, about 1/2 mpg. Going from stock tune to the programmer made a big difference, both in performance and mileage. Got better than 2 mpg with the right tune.

Thumper is right. I have a 5.4, 3.55 gears, 35's and a Superchips tuner. I average 13mpg combined city/highway.

I have 3.55 gears, 6" Fabtech, 35's and an Xcal II with custom tunes. I get roughly 13-14 mpg combined city/highway driving now where before my lift I saw 16-17.

Nope, but I know the dealer who got my truck ended up selling it. I saw it on a flat bed truck a little while ago so maybe he sold it too!

Take a picture of it and I'll tell you.

Ive learned it depends greatly on how heavy your foot is. If you like hearing that intake suck air and your exhaust blow it out you wont get sh$% for gas mileage. I have a 04 with a 6" and 35's if I can keep the RPM's under 2g's most the time it will go forever but my prob. is I like the noise so every chance I get I push the pedel. All that aftermarket stuff might help but to me it meens more power so I can go faster = no gas.

y0, hows your truck run on those 37's with 3"55's? is it constantly searching for gears to go into or is it just fine, just loss of power? thanks man.

Right Click on the Image.
Click Properties.
Copy the URL/Location.
Than when you're posting, click on the "Image" icon. It looks like a mountain with the sun above it next to the quote button. Click it and paste the URL in the box that pops up.
