lifted/ long travel... plz help

ok, so i used to have a 96 f150 with a 351 cleve motor, had a giant long travel set up in the front and a buddy fabbed up a long travel rear end. loved how it drove and how soft the ride was. it was equivalent to a 7 inch lift in hieght.
the question is... i want some hieght anything more than just the spacer i have now, which i want to get rid of... i want to put some lt coilovers in like camburgs or kings which can give me the 3 inches, i also want to put some nice upper arms with larger ball joints. does anyone know if its possible to put like king 14" shocks up front with the new upper arms for more than just 3 inches of hieght?
and yes its a 2wd

I am assuming you have an 04 and up F1 first off. I do not think there would be anyway for you to get a 14" shock in there, plus there really is no point to it, you would be fine with an 8 or 10. for the lift and arms i suggest you just get the king bolt up coilovers that come with everything you need to install, and get some total chaos upper arms with 1" uniballs and you would be set. I believe that set up can actually get around 10-11" of wheel travel

There would be no reason to get a 14 "long travel shock" (im guessing you mean a dual rate or coil with a tender coil" while maintaining other stock components such as the lower arm and tie rods that would limit the travel by their ball joints.

once again assuming you have a new F1, camburg makes a kit for up to 7.5" of lift with new arms, spindles, coilovers and steering that might be up your alley, here is the link: http://camburg.com/04F150.html

yes i have an 04, new style. ty for the replies but niether helped much haha. im mainly wanting to add some hieght with good travel. more height than just my as 2.5s but i dont want to spend the 2 gs on a full lift kit, just the front end components. and since no one makes just a spindle lift, im tryin to figure out how to lift just the front end more than just new coil overs, looking for at least 4 inches of lift

like if i went with a 10" shock and tightened the hell out of it to ride tall, that would kill the uniballs right? yeah, which is y i was talkin about just buyin the camburg or total chaos upper arms for the 1" *****. but would i be able to get more than just 3 or 4 inches of lift out of that?

ok stop if you get the total chaos upper control arms that would help but you are going to kill the ball joints on your lower control arms! look if you want that much lift, MAN UP spend the money and do it the right way or deal with only the 2.5"s of lift you can get from replacement coil overs.... dont half *** something like this its just going to cost you big time in the long run!

I'm not exactly sure how much lift you want, but i do know in response to you saying no one has a spindle lift, fabtech makes a 3.5 inch spindle and i believe doetsch tech does too. Hope that helps some.

If you want wheel travel then most of the stock stuff has to go, because these trucks weren't built for wheel travel. If you want that much lift without dropping the crossmember then you will need both upper and lower control arms, and coilovers. If you want a "baja" setup then you can't beat Camburg. Their kit comes with prety much a whole new front end. I would love to get that kit for my truck, but it does come with a big price tag.

There are other ways to lift the front end like 1-2.5" but they arn't going to have the travel and will ride somewhat like stock. Even 2.5" of lift can wear out ball joints though.
