I have the Fire stone ride rite air helper installed in the rear end of my truck, I pull a Jayco 27BH and having the air set around 60-70lbs when towing my trailer makes a world of difference. I totally recommend it. I didnt get the air pump installed because its too easy to use a 12v air pump.

In my F250, trailing the below, I installed the RideRite air springs. It is a really good setup as far as ride and weight compensation. If you don't use it too much, I would just put some air valves at the back bumper and fill them from that or as Arkas said using a 12V portable.

I purchased the pump since we haul fully loaded sometimes, patrially and other empty from dropping off. This way I can adjust on the fly depending on my loads. I can pump it from the cab and have a left right gauge.
