I have a 2003 Supercrew 4X4. I want to raise the truck with a leveling kit. To my eyes the truck sits level now, so would a leveling kit raise the front higher than the rear? I want a level looking 2.5" lift and I can't afford a suspension lift. Are there any concerns with a 2.5" leveling kit? Thanks

 

Since you have a 2003 you can raise torsion bars 2 inches and it should sit level.

 

Is there any ill effects from doing this? I don't mind a rougher ride, just don't want to damage anything.

 

After reading more on the torsion bar adjustment I decided to try it. Can't beat free. Thanks

 

Don't forget you will need a front end alignment. Just stay away from the leveling kits/re-indexed torsion bar adjustment keys for our trucks.
