I saw an Expy IRS fitted to an 04 in a magazine, but it was lifted.

Anything is possible, but this is going to be FAR from a bolt on mod. It's definitely going to require some parts/brackets fabrication along with some welding.

yah there was a truck they did it to that i saw posted on here a while back, but it looked like a ton of custom fabrication. Basically they cut the frame in half at the bed, welded on the expy frame back from there, the made custom bed mounts for the expy frame...

Anythings possible but it would be a very time consuming, labor intensive project. It's much easier to go from coils to leaf springs than the other way around. You'd have to link the rear suspension perfectly which would be extremely hard and where would you put the top of the coil spring without a coil pocket. Next question is why would you even consider doing it?
