Some ?'s

I have an 05 FX4. I'm looking into getting either the pro comp or fabtech 6in. suspension lift. I have seen the pro comp lift on ebay for around $1100. is it safe to buy off ebay or should i stay away. also, what are the differences in the two lifts.

I don't plan on doing much off roading, it's mostly for looks.

pro comp vs fabtech has been beat to death and I don't normally say do a search but there's a lot of info. In short the fabtech is better. As far as buying off ebay I would think it's pretty safe but have know people to get screwed but very few for the number of transactions.

If it is only for looks save your money and just get a Pro Comp, they are usually cheaper. Get whichever is cheaper at the time you order it. Fabtech is better IMO but just for looks it doesn't really matter.

As for eBay i couldn't tell ya, i have never ordered anything off eBay.

I use ebay all the time and never had a problem. Just know who you are buying from. Make sure if you use ebay, you pay with paypal. If you dont get your product, you will have your money refunded. Dont pay cash or anything. By the way, Fabtech is the way to go.

Exactly as Keith said, always use paypal for your purchases because you are pretty much guranteed to get what you purchase or your money back. My wife buys stuff just about daily from eBay and we've only had one issue in over 5 years.

Bought tons of stuff from ebay and no problems. Just do a good check on the sellers feedback is all.
