The alignment tech mentioned the wheel bearings on my '99 F150 where starting to go. Is there any other way to tell if the bearings are shot? I don't hear any noise coming from the right side but did notice white grease build up on the lower control arm.

Assuming the wheel bearings need replacing, are there any brands people have found to work well?
