Suspension lift

I have been searching for ages now for a lift. I drive a 99' Ford f-150 2wd XL 4.6L. I want to give it that 4wd look ya know without wasting so much money (I mean, I am 18, live in a small town, works my *** off and has bills so I'm limited). BUT I have some spending cash. Anyone with any information of some products I could possibly check out?

I just hate the way a 2wd sits down in the front end.

Ha, I don't believe I need a 7.5" lift. I can get girls without it.

I was looking at Fabtech 1997-2003 Ford F150 3.5" Spindle Lift. What do yall think?

i think a bodylift and spacer would be pushing it close for 35's. but the 7.5in fabtech would work.

i have a 2wd with a 3.5" fabtech lift, 3" bodylift, and a 1.5" daystar spacer. everything came in each kit. i didn't have to buy anything extra, except for the antifreeze for the bodylift.

here is one with the body lift and spacer. tires 265/75/16

here is one with everything. tires 305/70/16

That looks good man. Do you think the fabtech kit alone would do the trick for me?

3" Body lift - $174.95
3.5" Fabtech - $623.95 (Includes kit, Alignment cam kit, 1" Block, no shocks)
1.5" Daystar spacer - $74.95

Total - 873.85 (Not including shipping and installation)

So possibly around 1k for a 4wd look like yours, dodge_slayer

it all depends on how much you want to spend. a 4wd only sits about 3" higher than a 2wd. so yea the fabtech kit will do it. there is othen spindle lifts cheaper than fabtech. just make sure you don't get spindles made by AIM. the only ones i know made by them are rough country spindles.

i did all of this in a 3yr period. plus i installed it all myself.

this is a good kit to buy. shocks aren't included but you can get them anywhere.

You can get Doestch spindles off Ebay for less money than the Fabtech spindles and they are just as good. Heck, go with the lift spindles, coilspring spacers and a 3 inch body lift and some 35's!

that'll look pretty sweet!! are you installing it yourself? I read on another thread that body lifts can cost about 700 bucks to install.... might want to budget for that... but it will still look sweet!!!

Oh yea, I'm a good ole country boy that loves jacked up trucks but I dont want to put the 2wd to waste and I love my ford so yea. Thanks everyone for yalls help and I will most likely get a crew up and myself to install all this to cover installation and labor costs (which are outrageous).

Thanks again everyone
