Suspension and Leveling Kit?

I am planning on getting a 6" Fabtech Lift next week and I was wondering if it is wise to get a 2.5" leveling kit as well. I have 35's on 20's, so I know that they will fit under the 6" lift, but would it look better with a Leveling Kit also?

Dude I have been trying to get a straight answer on this question for awhile. I have a 04' with a pro-comp 6" and 35's. I wanna go with 37's without dropping 3 g's on an 8" kit. I wanted to try a 2.5" leveling kit and add-a-leafs in the rear but some people say no and some say yes. So I still don t know but I think it would break parts in the long run.

6" spacer+2.5"spacer=no

Or you can buy coilovers and crank em up 2"

you can put the leveling kit on there it is a better idea to get a 2" than a 2.5" kit to keep you angles less intense.... i would go with a bigger tire though the gap with 35's is going to look pretty big. there was a guy on here a long time ago (trooks2001) who had my tires with the basic 6" fabtech and a leveling kit no rubbing so you can go pretty big with the tire if you decide to do it.

There's no reason you couldn't add a leveling kit on top of a 6" kit. Putting a leveling kit on a truck with a 6" suspension lift is pretty much the same as putting a leveling kit on a stock truck.

Big jts, if you have the ProComp coilover kit then fine, but if you have the ProComp spacer kit I wouldn't recommend adding a leveling kit spacer on top of the ProComp 6" spacer.

I think a few years ago Thumper was running a Rancho 4" kit with a leveling kit spacer on top of it.

Unless you want to keep the suspension warranty, it voids the warranty on most kits and isn't recommended by the manufacturers. Other than that little detail...

Most kits are designed to come pretty close to level to begin with - 37x13.5s do a nasty rub job in the body seam at the back of the wheel well. It can be fixed (plasma torch worked fine), but it's tougher than it looks. If you want to use bigger tires, use the proper lift kit, you'll be happier in the end with an engineered product. Just my 2 cents.

I`ve got a 6" fab lift. Just had my lower ball joints replaced. So i put my 2.5" AS back on. It`s been about 3wk`s. So far so good. I`ve read some threads that this is not a good idea. I have a 4x2 so hopefully the wear and tear wont be to bad. Only issue I have is trying to make sharp turns. Check out pic`s. ? What should I do about the rear? Already have a 5'' blocks.

I`ll try posting some clearer pic`s later

That sounds correct. Allways thought when adding a 6" lift (fabtech), that all the front components were drop to the same spec`s as stock. ?Can anyone explain the difference?
