Question 4x4 Springs

Will the 4x4 springs from the 04-07 f150s fit the 2wd trucks???

What makes the 4x4's sit just a little taller...

I don't think there is a difference between springs. It's the additional of a 2" block to make up the lift in the rear.

They will fit. The front springs are the same size however the strut or shock has a different position that the spring seats on that raises the front end to stock 4x4 height. Also as stated earlier there is a 2" block that goes under your rear leaf springs that raises the rear. If you leave the block out of the rear and just add the front the truck sits pretty level. If you add the block the rear will ride higher.

Question

Has any body put these springs on a 2WD and the billet spacers???

I have the leveling kit which is a billet spacer and a shackle in the rear...

Obviously the rear block won't matter as long as I have the rear u-bolts...

But the front with the 4x4 springs and my billet spacer, Will it work????

I dont believe so I believe it will put your ball joints at to severe of an angle.

yea your upper balljoint will defineatly be in a severe angle which could break if you hit the right pothole and it will wear out much more quicker than just the spacer in there. stick to the spacer or buy a lift kit.

I work in construction and alot of my jobs are downtown Houston, Tx. I have to be able to fit in parking garages, and right now I am about 2" from hitting my roof.

Just looking for another couple of inches, I'm not a cheap skate, I can definatly afford a 6" kit, it just would'nt be practical for my application...
