What kind of lifts are available for a 4x2?

I have a 2004 supercrew 4x2, and would like to know what kind of lifts are available for 4x2s. If you have any suggestions/pictures, please post them.

Thanks

Fabtech has a 6" lift for 4x2s. Several members on here have them.

Pro Comp also makes a 6 inch lift for 4x2's, but the Fabtech would be my first choice.

I'd suggest Fabtech too. But I'd try to find out if the RCD kits will work on the 2WDs, I'd go with one of those before anything else.

I have the same truck as you. I was in the same boat. I would stay as far from Fabtech as you can. They're cheeeeaaap. Pro Comp is good, they use CNC casting so all there parts are made from one solid piece of steel. Fabtech uses welds...which can break. I'm going with CST Suspension. Much better quality. Pro Comp and Fabtech are just cheap generic lifts. They're fine if all you want is looks. RCD lift can be bought with shocks or not. Without shocks, it costs as much as a Pro Comp or Fabtech including shocks. So that says something.

First time I have ever heard anything negative about Fabtech lifts. What's your experience with a Fabtech lift? If you had one and it failed somehow ever think maybe you got the one bad apple out of the bunch?

Fabtech Lifts!!

Fabtech lifts arent bad if going for looks, but if you want performance out of a 2wd lift i would go with CST. I have a 2002 Supercrew with a fabtech 7.5 crossmember lift and its ok nothing to brag about. Same travel as stock and even teh long travel kit from Fabtech is 2in. more travel. With the Fabtech lift you are very restricted on the types of shocks because of the shocks are stem mounted. If you are lookin to air out your truck then dont go with the fabtech id spend the extra cash and get the cst long travel kit. they both fit 35's and with 'glass fenders you can fit 37's. I never had any issues with the Fabtech lift just not content with it. Good luck!!

Fabtech and CST are both really good kits but if your looking for performance I would look into the Camburg 7.0 Coilover Kit. http://www.camburg.com/04F150.html
