Helper Springs Install

I just bought a pair of superleaf (autozone) helper springs, thinking that the install would be easy. Well it would be if the springs were underneath the axle but since they are on top, not so much. Can someone please give me some pointers on how to install these?

Can i just install these on top of the leaf spring pack, the idea is to keep the leaf pack rigid, correct? I ask this because that is how the Hellwig springs are designed.

I was curious about those springs also. Are these helper springs made so that the rear end wont hop around? I have a bad shimmy in the rear end of my 2000 F-150 Xtra Cab.
