I had a 2" leveling kit along with a 3" body lift installed on my truck two days ago. I had 35/12.50/17 Pro Comp Xterrains on Moto Metal 956 rims put on it. It looks nice but the shop where i had it installed told me it was impossible to align the tires and tried to get my to spend 800 bucks on new ball joints, idler arms, and pitman arms. I told them they're crazy and plan to take it to a local alignment shop to see what they tell me. Anyone out there experience the same thing?

 

Sounds like they are trying to stick it to you! I had my Ford dealer where I bought my truck install my AS 2.5" kit and do the alignment as well. It came out perfect with no issues at all! Go to another shop!

 

Yeah they either don't know what they're doing or they are just trying to stick it to ya'. Just like above, go to another shop.

 

What year/model truck do you have?
