Few Questions

I have a new 07' FX4 and after I finish paying it off Im planning on getting a AS 2.5" kit put on. After that I was thinking a 6" fabtech lift. What size tire would I be able to fit under them comfortably with 20" rims? I was hoping to fit some 37's but wasnt sure if I would need a 3" BL to fit those. Anyways, im new here as yall can tell. My name is Seth, obviously, and im from North Carolina! Im glad I joined!

With the 6 inch Fabtech lift, I'd stick with a 325/60-20 (35x13.00) tire. If you want 37's, I'd go with the 8 inch Rize lift.

I agree with Wandell if you want 37's get the 8" rize. I was going to go with a 6" fabtech and 3" body lift, but ended up getting the 8" Rize.

yeah believe me money is tight here too, but you have to start somewhere. If you plan on doing it when its payed off, you will never get there! start small, then get to the big stuff

what would be the pros/cons of a 6" fabtech with 3" BL vs a 8" rize?

Body lifts look bad, and can cause problems with heavy off-roading. Once you factor in the install price, and extra problems of a body lift (not to mention the fugly gaps), it just isn't worth it IMO.

Go big, or go home

Well I know what you mean and I dont :/ ALot of members here have the 6" susp with the 3" BL and I havent seen and gaps. They all look crisp and clean. But I do know what gaps your talking about, because my brother had a 02' dodge ram with a 6" susp and 3" body and there was a ugly gap between the bed and the back bumper. Is there something out there to fix this?

Also would I have replace the brake lines if I got this big of lift? And if so, is there anything else I would need to replace? Im relatively new to the whole lifting scene. Although I do have a 78' K5 Blazer that I put a 4" ruff country lift on with 35" BFGs All Terrains, but still im not very proficient in all this suff, which is why I joined this site, so I cant learn some. < WOW what a run on sentence! :P

It would be a lot easier to install the 8 inh Rize. I hear body lifts are a PITA to install on the 04-07's.

hello i am new here but here is my 2cents.My old 05 f150 4x4 screw had the 2.5"
leveling kit 6" pro comp 2"add a leaf with 37x13.50x20 on 20x10.No rubbing
but cv axles and pretty much every thing was at sever angles.I was not aware of the rize kit but now it is very popular here.seen these kits with 37's
angles are nice.4 sure worth saving a little longer.my 07 will have the rize 8"
when i do it.gonna let the new wear off first.hope this helps.also under these
angles cv axles popped in 4 low when you first hit the gas good u know stuck
then decided to put it in 4 low
