Question Lift Kits and Long Term Use - feedback requested

I am very close to purchasing my lift kit for my '04 screw 4x4, and I have gotten a lot of helpful infomation from these forums - so thanks a lot, but I haven't seen any threads on this topic.

I'd like to hear from users who have had their kits installed for a couple years, or 50-60K miles. I know they cause wear and tear on components faster than stock, but I don't want to be replacing ball joints every 15K, or having bearings go bad every 6 months, or any other list of things that can happen. So I'm asking around....

What kind of extra maintainance can I expect from having a kit on my truck for the years to come? Is the squeaking and sagging unavoidable? Just general concerns...

I'm planning on the Fabtech 6" coilover setup and steering stabilizer, and I'm going to run 35s on most likely 18" wheels (I haven't decided yet).

I appreciate it guys.

I ran 70K+ on the SkyJacker 3" kit, had no abnormal wear. Many people say this is the worst kit, it puts maximum angles on everything. Only front end part I have replaced is a tie rod end around 40,000 miles - the boot was intact and it was COMPLETELY dry inside, so I think it was a bad part from the factory.

I've got 15K on the SkyJacker 6" kit, everything is at the same height it was the day I installed it. No sqeaks, squeals, drags, rubs, etc.

Been running my lift that I installed for about 8-9 months with no issues.
