i used a set of 4x4 blocks with the 4x4 u-bolts. i also replaced the shocks with the 4x4 ones as well!!!!! i bought them from someone on the forum that had lifted their truck. ask here on the forum, and i'm sure someone has a set laying around.

I would NOT stack blocks, you can if you want to, but honestly how much more will it cost to buy ONE block the right size?

Have you done anything else to your truck's suspension or is it pretty much stock? I don't think you're going to clear 35's on a 2WD by just adding a 2" leveling kit and 4WD blocks (which are only 2" blocks I believe). I could be wrong, but everything I read said a 2WD would need a lift to fit 35's.

I believe you are correct, the 4x4's have larger front springs as well creating more lift.

i got measurments. i am only one inch shorter in front and 2 inches shorter in back than a stock 4x4. if i add blocks, back is same. and a 4x4 needs a front level to get 35's, therefore i will still be one inch shorter if i add a leveling kit so i should fit them

I have 35's on my 2WD and by looking at it I don't see how I'd be able to turn the wheel without it rubbing everywhere with only a leveling kit on there. What kind of tire are you looking at going with? Are you replacing your wheels also or sticking with the stockers?

I agree with wxscpo. I have a 2wd with 2.5 level and a 3" Body lift, and I'm expecting to have to trim my valance when I put my 35s on. I don't think it can be done (safely).

I just fit 35/12.5 w/ a 3.5 inch spindle lift. You will need at least 3.5 inches of lift in the front...I still get a bit of rubbing, and still have a bit more trimming to do. It will take more than a leveling kit to fit 35's...just save the hassle and save up for a lift so that there are no problems!
