front or rear level

i've been looking around the treads and i see that most people are using the front level kit. I'm going for the more sport truck thing. Question is, what is the best way to level the truck lowering the rear?

Add lowering shackles. It should take about 30 minutes to put on.

I had a spacer first. Didn't like it. I ended up taking them off and doing a shackle kit instead. Shackles are much easier IMO.

I know I am slow to this thread but I just put a GF shackles on. I will take a pic tomorrow and post it on this thread.

They are easy but it certainly isn't like just a bolt on. It takes some finesse with getting the springs and jack to put it all together.

Amazon has the 91200 kit for 93 shipped so start with that price if you are gonna go shopping online.

I had my springs loose and free hanging, so the shackle install was easy.

I had the frame on stands. I had to use the jack to lift the rear end a little to get it to line up.

dennisfranz...How does the truck behave now that the rear is down level. Do you like it better, same , worse? Do you carry much of anything? Does the ride height affect rear brake bias? or do you make an adjustment? Thanks. Pete
