Rear lift question

I was going to order my Autospring leveling kit for my 06 supercab 2x4 then I saw they had a block and a leaf spring kit.

Whats better to go with...blocks or leaf spring on a daily driver and I rarely carry anything?

I HATE the way the truck looks stock and wanted just to level it out but then I read the rear sometimes sags when the front is lifted so I'm going with the 2.5in for the front and a 3in for the rear, whats your opinions on that?

Thanks

I would not go with a 3 inch lift in the rear. If you go with that and a 2.5 inch leveling kit, your stance will be 1/2 inch more "tail high" than it is now. I'd go with the 2.5 inch leveling kit and lift the rear 1 inch with a block. I may be wrong, but I read your post as installing a 2.5 inch leveling kit and then adding a 3 inch block on top of the OEM rear block. If you meant you were gonna replace the OEM 2 inch block with a 3 inch AS block, (for 1 inch of rear lift) that should be just about perfect.

I think you've confused yourself during the course of your reading. leveling kits don't cause the sag you read about, that comes on full lift kits where the rear sits just a bit lower than the front.

Measure the distance from the ground to the middle/top of your wheel well trim front and back. whatever the difference is = the amount you want to raise the front for it to be level. This is what a leveling kit will do for you. The rear ride height will be unaffected.

Wandell is quite correct about replacing the block rather than adding it on.

Cool, I just want to get rid of that lower front end look and get the truck level. If I do add the 3in, I will replace the 2in for the 3in

The front is 34in and the rear is 36 3/4in, If I just order the 2.5in kit that should solve my problem right?

Thanks!
