Multi Shock Kits ? ??
Let me guess you want all those red rancho boots to show in your wheel well? A: you have a coilover so anything would be all out custom and point less other then to show off all the cool rancho shocks shoved in there and B: Why? 2 and 3 shocks is out step up to a good coilover and get the added ride quality.
Well the Trucks Riding Really Hard in the Sand and a few guys up there with Coilovers on Silverados put triple Fox shocks up there and said it rides 1000 times better under speed..
While were here i need some trouble shooting...
Its a New 2006 F-150 with a 6in Skyjacker.. kit has mayne 5k on it and im getting alot of noise from the front almost like a poppin noise and a Bad Creek from the Rear Area (stock Shocks in the rear)?? Any Ideas when i lube all the arms/joints/tie rods it vanashes for a few days then returns...
What Should i tighten? Loosen? or Replace???

Again A: Very Nice Truck and B: They dont have true coilovers like we do our coil is on the shock while theirs is a coil and a shock in the middle or a torson bar set up. They have that add on kit that puts 2 more shocks on the upper a arm. Your best bet would be change out your skyjacker crap shocks and put some extended lenght bilsteins in there, or drop 1000 on some aftermarket coilovers. Correct me if I am wrong but skyjacker uses their own springs right? That would mean you would have to come up with all the stock coilover parts to upgrade to the bilsteins. IMO thats where I would start.

First off the 88-06 chevy 1500's 4x4 have torsion bars with a regular shock. Whereas the F150 has a coilover setup (better ride quality) which is basically a big strut and with this setup the coil actually sits on the shock so there's no way without major modifications to change this. Secondly by adding more shocks it will actually stiffen the ride even more because the shocks job is to dampen the ride and by adding more it doesn't allow for the other shocks to restrict. If your ride is too stiff then the only way to change it is by putting on an after market coilover which someone mentioned above. Someone also said the torsion bar setup has a coil as well but that is incorrect, it's just a torsion bar and shock only.
Our company truck is a 2 wheel drive and it had a coil with the shock in the middle of the coil, Chevy has a coil brucket and a torson suspension. I dont know what goes where or what but our 05 2 wheel drive is a coilbucket truck not a torson. I didnt mean it had both but there are two suspension out there for chevy
