Arrow '88 F150

I just bought an '88 F150 with a 3" BL and SPOA swap with blocks with 36x16.50 **** Cepek Kevlar's. I need to put a suspension lift on it because the tires rub when the wheel is turned all the way and I can't imagine what they'll be like off-road. I have 2 40x17 Ground Hawgs that I got for free and I want to put them on there along with a suspension lift, so what kind of lift do I need to be looking for?

Thanks,

cohen

First off the springs on the 80-96 are already above the axle so no one did a soa because they were already there. Next, to fit 40's you'll need at least a 6" suspension lift or to be safe go with 8" which only skyjacker makes and then figure in your body lift and you're at 11". If you go with a 6" I'd look into superlift because they're very reasonably priced and a good product just not sure if you're gonna be able to turn those 40's with only 6" but maybe. You may also want to look into a shackle flip for the rear for an easy 4.5" which you can buy from sky for $150 which is well worth it.

Edit: This is assuming you have 4x4 because the 4x2's have 2.5" wide springs whereas the 4x4's have 3" wide springs.
