How to adjust Pro Comp Coilovers

We just put a 6in Pro Comp with coilovers on my dads truck. But the coilovers came cranked. They are cranked like 2-2.5in. How can we crank them down? It seems really hard to turn the adjustment ring things.

Thanks

First spary they shock down with WD then take the weight off the shock by jacking the truck up from the frame or front support.
Wait does the procomps use the two locking rings or one with a set screw?
I wrote direction for the fabtechs but I think the procomps might use that double locking ring. let me look real quick

I cant find the info so ill just tell you for both styles After the weight is off the shock look for a set screw to back out, after that is out turn counter clockwise to "uncrank" them and clockwise to crank or raise the truck more. If it uses the double lock system loosen the top ring first spin it all the way up the shock then turn the bigger ring counterclockwise to lower the front end. when done either put the set screw back in or turn the top ring back down and tighten it against the lower ring. Also it will be hard when they are already cranked because there is a lot of tension on them.

Thanks for all the help, we got them adjusted to about 6.5in lift. I will get some pics of it up. We still got to do the rear, cause the person we bought the kit from did not have the rear shocks or blocks, so we need to get those parts.

Since you don't have lift blocks yet I would try to get a solid block instead of stacking.

What companies make blocks for our trucks? I am thinking 3in in the rear would be good. So either a 3in block to stack, or a 5in block to replace the stock one. Anyone know where to get these?

Thanks
