bilstien 5100's

i just got them in today where do i set the ring at to make them level my truck the top one or the bottom one and it may sound stupid but which groove is the top and which groove is the bottom

Think of it like this. Set the ring so the spring has the most preload (to lift the truck).

How much did they set you back? Is that a better solution than a leveling kit? I am new to this forum and to SCREW and I want my truck to be level, but don't want to compromise the truck either. I'm concerend that these leveling kits are not the fix for the truck

Put them on the top ring to level out the truck. I think it's the best way to level out an F150 IMO. Thats only be my shocks were shot and it was time to replace.
