Leaf Sprint Noise

Has any one had a problem with the rear leaf springs creaking? I took my 2004 Screw to a leaf spring shop and they re-arched the springs. I have a 4 inch lift on the truck with 37” tires. Ever since the lift was done the truck creaks when I enter a drive way. It seems to be gettign worse. Any Ideas?

I'm assuming they added a leaf to help achieve your desired height. You may need to put in some squeak pads above the extra leaf or check to make sure the oem ones are still in there.

They put the pads inbetween each of the springs and after taking it back 3 times they ever replaced the bushings. I still have the problem. when it comes back from the shop it seems to fix it for a few days then back the way it was

The way we pinpoint a squeak here is have someone jump up and down on the bumper while another person looks at it. You should at least be able to find out what side it's on. Then take a can of WD40 or PB Blaster and spray in different spots until the noise goes away.

It doesnt squeak when you jump only when it moves side to side. I had the leafspring company under the truck and they thought it was binding on the clips so they ground down the leaf springs and now there is 1/16 inch space on both sides of the clips. This fixed it for 2 days now its back

Not thinking grinding the springs down is the best solution but have them completely remove the clips. Drive it around for a week and see if that solves it. If it does then put some qwik clips on it which go around tight and have no play in them.
