Body lift or nerf bars first?

Hi. I'd eventually like to put on a 3" body lift, 35's and gears on my '99 (with some smaller stuff in between). I'd like to put on my body lift right off the bat to get it up there a little away from stock trucks. However will I have trouble mounting my nerf bars? Will they be 3" too low? Will I have to undue my body mounts to mount them? This is really sort of a dilema for me... I really want that body lift on first. Thanks.

most nerf bars mount to the body (mine do) so when you lift the body, the bars go up with the body, no problem. check out my pics...

Yep, my Westins and most other brands mount to the body and do not interfere with a body lift at all.

does anyone know if the Go Rhino Dominator nerf bars that have the individual steps welded to them mount to the body or the frame?

where you getting sliders made at? i had a set on my tacoma that a guy made for me, but that was a connection i had over at yotatech.com and he specializes in toyotas. i have looked high and low and have had very little luck finding sliders for my truck...thats the reason i was going to go with the go rhino dominators, b/c they were as close to a slider as i could find

I've got a question again. Will raising the rear bumper interfere with accessing the spare tire? Also, what's the tallest size tire that will fit in the carrier? Thanks a lot guys, you've been a great help. I love this site!
