ok well right now i have a 01 lariat screw 4x4. almost 200,000 miles on it (yes it was my dad's old work truck). now, my parents said i could either lift my 01, or wait a 1-2 years and get a NEW F150 SuperCrew 4x4 and lift that. i really want something lifted now, but the NEW f150 lifted would be so muc better, BUT i gotta wait. what do you guys think?

No doubt, I'd wait. I'd also suggest showing your folks how much you want the new truck and how responsible you are by saving every penny you can. Then hopefully the wait will end up being a little shorter. I know 1 to 2 years sounds like a long time, but it's not.

thanks guys, yes i am going to wait..i just know it'll be that much better when i get the new one. but my dad agreed to letting me get some flowmasters, and BFG AT's 285/75R16s and some 16x10 American Racing wheels. so that's a good setup til i get a new truck.
