any problems with this setup??

hey new to the site, love it, got and 04 larait, wantin to lift it with new wheels and tires, heres what im thinkin 17x9 mt classic locks, with 5.5 inch of bs, 35x12.50x17 baja claws, and a P.A. 3 inch body lift with autospring 2.5 front leveling kit and 1.5 rear block, think thsi would look pretty, good, unsure of the wheels are they the right backspacing, alos might do a fabtech 6" suspension lift instead of the body lift, what are your thoughts im what my plans are, look forward to your comments

Sounds like a sweet setup. The 5.5 inches of backspacing is the same as you OEM wheels, so it is perfect.

sounds like it will look great..only thing is i would go with the fabtech 6" lift instead of the body lift it will be much better quality and look alot better...do u have a 4x4 or 4x2?

its a 4x4, i have been searching old topics and they say only 33's with aftermarket wheels and to keep my stock eighteens to run 35's or it will rub really bad... any truth to that

o ok..well with the fabtech u will be able to clear the 35's..only thing is u might have to trim the front valance just a little, maybe not though,my friend has the fabtech 6 on his 98' 4x4 and has 35x12.5r17 micky thompson baja mtzs and classic two wheels and has no rubbing at all

That's basically for trucks with a leveling kit only. (33's on aftermarket wheels or 35's on OEM wheels). By adding a 3 inch body lift also, you can fit 35's on aftermarket wheels.

Since you have an 04, you should have no clearance problems unless the dealer has changed your brake calipers to the 05-07 units.
