questions on installing Rancho 9000s

Thanks in large part to comments in this forum, I'm installing 9000s on my 2000 Exp. Had a couple install questions though that I haven't seen answers to (and an email to Rancho has so far gone unanswered) -

1- On the front, how tight do you go on the top nut
2- It seems some people install these with the adjustment **** towards the wheel and others with it towards the engine - any reason to do one or the other ?
3- No banding to keep them compressed for installing, but a turn of the top post releases them. Does it matter how far/much your turn the post ?

thx

1. Until the bushings start bulging
2. Facing out would be a lot easier to adjust...seems silly to face it towards engine
3. Doesn't matter
