time for new ball joints, Need help

Well my lower ball joints are shot. I`m going to try to replace them my self. So i need some info. Where can I buy good quality ball joints? And any helpfull hints on how to remove and reinstall these ball joints? (Or I can take it to the shop. Shop quoted $750 that sounded steep to me.) So any info will help. thanx

Ford just replaced mine under warranty. I notice the new Motorcraft ball joints have zerk fittings. I guess they figured out that "greased for life" crap was a bad idea.

I tried getting mine replaced, under warranty. But no luck . Due to my lift. I guess I`m one of the unlucky ones.

I had mine replaced, uppers and lowers, at Sears Auto for $700. Replaced with Moog joints. I feel convident about Moog. Has anyone had to tighten up the steering box gears on your truck with tons of miles? My idler arm and pitman arm seem solid.

There not hard.
This is one of those times if your looking at it and you don't really know how to do it. Prob. better to not, OR have someone help you so you can learn how to do it.

The only thing that I had a major issue with was the abs wire I screwed mine up and had to replace $$$$$ next time Ill be more carefull other than that rent the press from twilight zone and the job is pretty easy.Just take your time.
