Unhappy Vibration

Hey All!!

I am having an issue. VIBRATION. Everytime I go over small bumps in the roads or even reflectors, the truck vibrates pretty good throughout the whole truck. I have MT's Baja MTZ Radials (265/70R17) and put them on in November 06. They only have a little over 3,700 mile on them. Figuring they may be out of balance I had them rebalanced and had them rotated. However the truck continues to vibrate through the truck.

I also have Rancho RS5000's that were on when I bought the truck in 2002 and have about 50,300 miles on them. No hardcore 4x'g or anything, new shocks maybe? Any ideas???

I'd put new shocks on it. I had the same type of problem with my old '99 f150 and new shocks cured it for me.

That was the way I was leaning, I thought it might have been the shocks or something along that line. Thanks for the reply.

when you say vibration do you mean small little movements like ripple effect? My '04 4x4 screw lariat appears to have the tremors about 60-70m.p.h. Im leaning towards shocks myself

My truck has new shocks and does the same thing. I saw on here recently that somebody with this problem replaced the inner tie rod ends and fixed it. I know I have bad inner tie rod ends so it's possible this is the source of the vibrations. Check yours out.

thanks, I'll check them out. I'm hoping that's not the problem, but you never know.
