Driveline vibrations after lifting
Hey all,
I've got an '01 Expedition EB 4x4 w/ coil springs and AWD. I keep looking around at lift kits, but every seems to have problems with the AWD. After talking to a couple of the lift manufacturers, they tell me that there can be some serious driveline vibrations (front and rear) after the lift is installed. A custom CV-style driveshaft tends to help, supposedly. However, some manufacturers tell me explicitly not to buy their kit.
Has anybody had a problem with this?
