Lil Lift Help Needed.

I have an 04 2wd F150 with a leveling kit allready on the front. I am wanting to get the 3in lift kit from skyjacker and was wondering would I be able to keep the leveling kit on and still install the 3in kit on top of that as to keep the truck leveled out. This lift would raise me up just enough to get rid of the annoying rubbing thats going on at full turn when I back up. I appreciate your help ahead of time guys, youve helped me out of a pickle more than once.

No, you can't combine the two lifts. The CV and ball joint angles are at a severe angle with just the Skyjacker lift. There is no way they will survive combining the two lifts. I'd suggest either a 3 inch body lift or a full 6 inch suspension lift.

No just making sure before I make a decision not to get it, thats not even possible with the kit having new front struts? And thanks for the info man, you really help alot of people around here. Also, if I remove the leveling kit, that will put the backend higher than the front again Im assuming.

You can only go so high with just a spacer or a longer coilover. Most agree that 2.5 inches is as high as you can go on the 04-07's without dropdown brackets to correct the steering and suspension angles. That's why I'm not a fan of the 3 inch Skyjacker lift. Some people have had bad experiences with it and I just don't think the 1/2 inch of lift you gain over a $100 spacer is worth it.

10-4 big dog, so thats still a no. Well, comin from you I can pretty much take that to the bank. So, know where I can find an inexpensive 6in lift at? Just not a big fan of the body lift, no offense by the way.

Some members have found great prices on the standard 6 inch Pro Comp lift on EBay. I can't remember the sellers name.

Liftkitkings, or something like that, they are an ebay store. I believe they are selling the procomp basic kit for a little over $1200.00.
