Question Leveling Kit Question??

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Autospring bolt on kit Vs one that the coils must be compressed?? I am ready to purchase a leveling kit I just need to know which is better. Does one put extra strain on the drive train Vs the other? I have a 4x4 screw lariat-05.
Thanks

I think the majority of people here use the AUTOSPRING or similar bolt on kit. This kit actually keeps the factory ride as well. I believe, but don't quote me, that the kits that go into the springs make the ride a little stiffer. Also the bolt-on leveling kits are MUCH easier and quicker to install. I have posted this before but my AUTOSPRING kit survived a head on crash on my 2005 s-crew which was totaled. The frame and suspension were bent and the leveling kit was perfect. I was able to take it off and use it on my 2006 truck! Check my gallery for those pics...

Expanding on BrockH's question: has anyone experienced premature suspension wear/failure due to using a leveling kit and otherwise stock suspension from offroading?

The main difference is the bolt on spacers like the autospring are easier to install. The effects on suspension components is the same for both.

I saw those, pretty impressive that the kit survived, not to mention you!! Says much about the quality in the truck post 04' and the quality of AS kit.
Thanks for the input!!! I am purchasing the AS 2.5" kit.
