Leaf Springs?

Hi, i'm a new f150 owner, i have a 00' xlt 5.4 L extended cab 4X4 w/ a 6 1/2 bed. The truck has about 90k miles on it, and i've noticed that whenever i go over a speed bump a loud "clack clack" noise comes from the back of the truck just as the rear tires go up and over the speed bump. It's always just two times (clack clack). I listed and watched as someone jumped on the bed and it sounds like it's coming from the area of the leaf spring... any one know what this might be? could it be lose shock bolt or a u bolt on the leaf springs???? any ideas???

THANKS!

Check to make sure your spare is secured properly, could be that.

I figured it out... the prev. owner put helper springs on and they were messin' everything up... the u bolt was smacking against the origional leaf springs everytime i went over a bump! I tried to remove them and the nuts are stuck tight, i'll have to cut the u bolts i guess
