Need Help Lowering

read everything that i could find up here about lowering and now im more confused than ever. was looking at the DJM kit because i want a 2/4 drop i think. that way i can still tow my bike trailor and not have any problems with the ride quality i thought. djm kit used different lower control arms and used all stock stuff so i thought that was okay. then i read that everyone was taking them off going with ground force. they use shorter springs and different shocks so it seems the ride would be a lot stiffer that way with less spring plus it seems that i would run the risk of bottoming out. i have 22's and the 2/4 seems like it wouldnt cause any rubbing problems. is the ground force a close to factory ride and the djm just inferior or something. the ground force costs more and i dont mind paying it for quality. read that lowering it by the shorter springs and shocks will mess up the suspension geometry and that i need to use drop spindles. does this cause premature ball joint failure or someting. i was told that the 22's are putting undue stress on the front end and lowering it will make it even worst because of the angle the ball joints and tire rods will be in when i lower it. can someone please help. oh the biggest thing that i have hear is that since i have an 07 supercab 6.5 bed that is if i lower it there will be a vibration in the truck because of the pinion angle. if there are so many propblems then why do i see so many lowered trucks. can someone please help me. dont want to spend money to mess up my truck but i do think that there has to be a way to lower it. thanks in advance for any positive feedback. i had the ground force 9944 in my mind but scared to pull the trigger and buy it. please and if you have a good dealer in mind that i can talk to would be appreciated also

I'm not an expert on lowering but it sounds like some people may just be trying to talk you out of lowering your truck.
