Talking Mutt Lift / Pics

Well.... Its been a looonnnggggg time since ive gotten to show off my truck here on f150online forums. So, I decided to post some pics and see what all of you think of my truck

My lift on my truck is Basically a "MUTT" lift. lol. I have a 4" Rancho suspension lift. However, That just wasnt tall enough for me, So I bought an auto spring 1-1/2" coil-spacer to lift my front-end +3". I then put 6" Fabtech blocks in the rear.

so... My lift = Auto spring, Rancho, anddd Fabtech.
Eventhough it is a mutt lift, i doubt you can find any other 6" lift with this much travel, without going to a long travel suspension lift of course.

This is what i have done to my truck....

exterior;
6" Suspension
35" tires
18"x9.5" heelo? (however you spelt it) Rims.
top/lower billet grill
black antenna
Window tent
Black fuel cover

Interior/Sterio;
Valor 6.5" front intertainment deck.
(2) 2,000 Watt 12" Audiobahn Subwoofers.
(1) JL audio 1,000 Watt mono amp.
Extra car battery/equalizer.
All Fiberglass Custom subwoofer box
(2) fuse breakers.
Front bass controll (next to cigarrette lighter)

Engine/drive terrain;
Airaid CAI
Diablo Sport Tuner
Throttle body spacer
4:56 Gears
True dual exhuast with "COFFIN" mufflers.
(0-60 in 9.5 seconds)
.... Headers and Stallion PI Converter coming soon.

= LOTS OF WASTED WAGES

HERE ARE THE PICS!!!

What size engine do you have? Did you drive the truck with 35's and the old gears? I see you have 4.56 gears. I'm getting ready to make the swap to 4.56 as well. Just wonder how much of a difference it will make.

The passengers in the back don't have much leg room.

Yes, I drove the truck without gears for about a year.
(I have the 5.4L)

Well, you have plenty of leg room, Its you feet that are squished because of the box. lol You just have to sit with each foot pointing opposite ways. .... I dont have to sit back there.

The gears Do help alot. I thought it was guna make me spin the tires on take off every time, but it didnt help THAT much...
I top-out at around 80-90mph and have a 65mph cruising rpm of around 2400rpm's
You feel the biggest difference in first gear. My truck does a nice little jump/hop when i take off now.

As for towing and offroading.... Definetely a good investement. Before I got my gears my truck would bog down and almost die at the top of the hills at the dunes.

However.... If you have a stock truck.... I would recommend programming it before you do gears, if power is what you want. Getting gears will be much easier on your transmition, and pretty much your whole truck, but The programmer was just a huuuuge improvement on my truck. It eliminates your delay and you can feel it push you back in the seat. Nearly non exsistant in my truck before.

ok... enough of my blabering... YES gears help a whoolleee lot. Especially when your truck is loaded. Just very expensive. It will also probably help you even more if you have the smaller 4.6L engine. (my guess)

EXAMPLE:
0-60 times before gears = 12-13 seconds, maybe more as i recall....
with gears = about 9.5-10.5

These are my rough guestimates with a stop watch.
