I know this topic prob has been beaten to death so i apologize in advance.... I just recieved my AS 2" level kit for my '05 screw. How much is this going to affect my ball joints really? I have a 80,000 mi warranty and only 10,000mi on the truck. Not too concerned on Ford not covering ball joints if i put it the kit in i'll replace them my self. The dealerships here in NH are stingy. I just want to know what to expect.

 

Honestly, the ball joints appear to be a high wear item on these trucks and I'd expect them to wear out early whether you install a leveling kit or not.

 

Great.... My dakota went through ball joints every 20,000... it is a good thing i only go 2mi to work every day. Keepin the miles low.
