Reclocking and rebalancing driveshafts

Im looking at the directions for my superlift 6" lift kit and it says that I have to have my front driveshafts rebalanced. It also says that I have to grind off a key in the cv's and rotate one of the 90 degrees so that they go back in, in the same orientation (reclocking). I was wondering if someone could clear up as to why I need to go about doing these two processes and can you rebalance them yourself?

The reason you need to pull driveshaft apart at the slip yoke and grind master spline out is so you can set the driveshaft back in sync so that the in yokes line up >------< Win the inner yokes are lined up the driveshaft runs smoother with less binding at steeper angles. THen they want you to re balanace since the balance has been change from the turn.

After i put in my Fabtech asked for the samething so i set the driveshaft in sync and took to driveshaft place in town and they couldn't do it so i never did balance it and seems good. never get a vibration on the highway in 4hi

Also be carfeful putting the driveshaft in it only goes in one way rounded yoke towards the front , (I found that out the hard way)
