Do Leveling Kits Settle???

After thay have been on for a period of time do they settle? I am asking as many are getting 3"+ of lift from 2.5" Leveling kits.

So do they go back down to around 2.5" or does it stay at the same height after install?

Mine never settled. I even went and had my alignment re-checked about a year later and it was dead on still. The only thing that could settle would be the coilspring, but that could take a few years.

That is what I meant as I know the metal leveling kit will not change at all.

a leveling kit will not settle even if you get a poly urethane spacer like a daystar or a procomp.

So the height immediately after install is the height that it will stay, correct?

yes...the only thing that could possibly settle are your stock springs that came on the truck. If these do settle a little bit, it has no relation to the leveling kit. If it's going to settle, the spring will settle regardless of leveling kit or no kit.
