front end rattle

Hello, I am new to the site. Recently purchased a 98 F-150 Supercab 4x4 with a 4" Trailmaster lift(I know, I know), but anyway I recently replaced the center support link for the draglink bar along with new tie rod ends and lower ball foints. The uppers seem to be ok. The thing is there is something rattling when you are driving on bumpy roads and it seems to coming from the front. I have tried to find it, but to no avail. It drives fine and passed inspection last week, but it is really annoying. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks.

I'm not up on my lift knowledge, but check you're stabilizer bar end links. I don't know how the lift differs with these, but worth a check, all other noted suspects are accounted for.

I had a bolt come out of the mount for the sway bar on the frame. Bad rattle.

Thanks guys. The bushings at the end of the sway bar need replaced. They aren't real bad, but they need tightened and are worn a little. I'm a little scared to try and tighten them. I sprayed them with wd-40 but they are really tight. I'm afraid they may snap. But anyway thanks again for the advice.

By the way, if I want to replace the end links don't I need to buy them longer to account for the lift? the ones that are on it are like 11" or so. Thanks.

Any other suggestions? I have just replaced all the bushings for the swaybar, installed anti-rattle shims and new caliper bolt boots, and I am still getting a loud rattle from under the front end, or at least I think that is where it is coming from. This is really getting on my nerves.

Take a good look at your shocks, I tore all the rubber out of mine at pismo.

Thanks bigdad. Just checked, and the bottom bushings are SHOT. You can grab the shock at the bottom and move it all around. Yet one more thing to add to my list. Still have to adjust the torsion bars, just have to wait a couple weeks so I can afford to do the shocks, AAL or blocks, and a front end allignment all at once. Thanks again, both of your suggestions have been part of my problems with the rattle.
