Rough ride

For a 2005 F150 Screw I was wondering if a 6" lift makes your truck ride rough? What shocks do you recomend for the lift? Would the blocks be better or adding leafs. I would like to get the lift but dont want to be uncoforable ride.
Thank You

I find the ride firmer than stock, but I thought the stock ride was way soft for a truck. Mine's a SkyJacker 6". Very comfortable and much nicer than stock in my opinion.

In general, blocks or springs are softer than AALs. I prefer springs, big blocks allow a lot of spring wrap.

Shocks are generally relative to the brand you buy - as a rule, better shocks ride better (spend a few dollars and get better shocks).

I got the Fabtech 6" lift and I absolutely love the look of the truck. As far as ride it's a little stiffer, but not bad at all. I think the tires have made a bigger difference than the lift did, but even that said it's not much rougher than stock. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat! I had the 5" blocks installed in the rear of the truck vice an AAL.

If you're thinking about a lift DO IT!

Depends on what tires you add too...

Just remember any mud tires is going to make anything ride rough(er) with or without a lift.
