Question Can U buy a "New" lifted truck?

I had read a while back in one of my offroading magazines about a company that will lift a new truck prior to purchase. They were working with the factory so that no warranties were voided. I'm getting ready to trade my truck in and wanted to pursue this option. Any insight would be appreciated.

Yes, you can do that. Alot of the trucks on the lot down here are lifted. The only downfall to that is that the dealerships mark it up rediculously.

Exactly. A lot of dealerships sell lifted trucks but they usually charge an outragous price. I saw a Screw at a local dealer and they added $500 to the sticker price for a $100 leveling kit.

Thanks for the repies. I was really looking for a conversion company that works with the factory. The problem with the dealership doing the lift is they honor the warranty but Ford does not. Great if I never move, but who knows.

I read about this company in Peterson 4-wheel, Four-Wheeler or Off-Road magazine. I can't remember which one and my "Old Lady" threw out the magazines. It was in the "what's new" section.

Look up Southern Comfort conversions. They do Lifts, paint, and interior. The trucks that they build are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, an 06 F150 built by them will run you $42,000 easy.

Thanks for posting the link. I was way too lazy to look it up. And you have no idea how close I've come at least a half-dozen times to trading in my 02 and buying one of their trucks. The ones I've seen usually come with a 5 inch susp lift and 35s. Not to mention the most badass paint jobs I've ever seen. They completely redo the interior too. I'd almost be afraid to get in the truck out of fear of getting dirt in it. The only thing I don't like about them is that they don't do anything to the drivetrain. They put 35s on with some really nice rims, but leave the stock 3.55s or 3.73s.
