Spindle Lift To Leveling Kit

I want to go from my spindle lift to a leveling kit. How do I figure out which size leveling kit to go to without changing the rear block? I just don't know what size or height spindle I've got. How do I figure this out? Could I just remove the spindles, install stock, and install adjustable leveling kit?

Can I ask why? Odds are your spindles are giving you 3.5 inches of lift. The only leveling kits for your truck are lift coils and coilspring spacers. With both you are limited to 2 inches of lift. If you go above 2 inches of lift you have to have longer upper control arms to get the alignment withing specs.

Man, of course YOU can ask why. You've got all the answers so if you have a question, just ask! anyway, I just don't like how my front wheels sit out so far away from the wheel wells. It looks cool if there are big enough tires, but I only have 265/75/16s. These tires are so narrow, the truck looks really funny from the front, kind of like a big person with skinny legs. no proportion.

Wandell, just looking at your pictures, noticed the pro comp shocks - how do you like them? you just did the rears and not the fronts?

I have ES3000's on all for corners. They are an improvement over the OEM units, but I guess that isn't a huge compliment.

How do I go from lift spindles to spacers? What I mean is, what's required? Do I buy stock spindles and take out the rear block and add the spacers? What parts do I need to do this? I know I will lose an inch (or so) of lift, but I really dont mind as long as I can bring my front wheels back in toward the body.

Right. You will just have to remove the lift spindles and install a set of OEM spindles. When you go to reassemble everything, install the coils spring spacers with the springs.
