Hey guys, I'm about to upgrade my 4x4's 265s to 285s and am also thinking about getting a small lift, somewhere between 2.5" to 4". I do not want any body lift because I want my replacement bumpers, step bars, etc. to lift with the truck. The smallest and cheapest suspension lift kits I can find are 4" and in the neighborhood of $1400. I was just wondering if there are any alternatives to getting what I'm looking for...thanks

 

That's pretty much it. Just shop around for the best price.

 

just get the 2.5 AS up front and the 3" AS block in the rear.... save you about $1,200

 

He has a 99 not a 04-07.

 

Sorry, I should have specified '99 4x4. Thanks for the response. Guess I'll just have to keep looking. Just don't know why they don't make anything smaller (and less costly) than a 4".
