RIZE Lift...Wheel offset question

I know this should be in the tire/wheel section, but the Rize experts are in this section so here it is:

I will be getting the Rize 8" with an additional 2" spacer up front and an AAL in the rear. I am looking at putting MT Classic Locks in 18X10" with the 6" backspacing. Will I have problems with the 6" backspacing? I know I have read on here and other sources that they say 5" max backspace is it, but with 10" of lift I should be safe with the 6" backspace correct?

I guess tire size makes a big difference...I am looking to run the new Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 in a 38X15.5-18...

Comments?

I don't know if you'll have problems or not, but my current wheel is only 18x8.5 with 5.75 inches of backspacing.

Thanks jrohrigj...and BTW that is one sweet truck you got there. You sure kept us waiting in suspense to see pics of that truck with the Rize! But it was worth the wait...

Mine aren't installed yet, but they are 17x9 with a 5" bs.

The wheel will likely move the tire and wheel too close to the top of the spindle and upper control arm. Call them and ask, but I would bet that's why they say maximum offset of 5".

Before I took my truck in I asked Rize about the backspacing, and they replied any backspacing with a 18" or 20" rim would work, but they do recommend 4.5"
