Alignment required after shock replacement?

Just as the title indicates. Also, I searched and it sounds like although they're coil springs up front, I won't need a spring compressor to drop the shocks?

Thanks all.

The shocks you should be able to just pop right out without doing much at all. Technically you could do it without removing a tire if there was room. As far as an alignment, it's not a bad idea to have one done...but replacing shocks doesn't place a need on an alignment like replacing a tie-rod would, for example.

It might be a good idea to have it done just in case it was out before you replaced the shocks but you can get by without having it done.
