4x4 VS. 4x2

Hey fellas can you tell me what are the difference in the front of these 2 vehicles??? As far as shock lengths, spring lengths and spring rates? How much higher does stock 4x4 sit compared to stock 4x2?
If you can put 4x4 shocks in 4x2 to get the 4x4 height?

The 04-07 4x4's sit about 2 inches taller than the 4x2's because of longer coilover shocks up front and a 2 inch lift block out back.

So the strut body is longer on the 4x4 than the 4x2? Or a combination of the strut and the coils? Will a 4x4 front strut fit in the 4x2?

I figure the 4x4 strut and coil assemble will be different to comensate for the added weight of the 4x4, transfer case,axles,etc...the spring rates on the 4x4 may be higher than 4x2. Just thought if I can change out to 4x4 strut to gain the extra height...???

Thumper are the bilsteins 5100 Gonna help me get the extra height to obtain the 4x4 height? My goal is to be able to run 35" tires until I have enough for the RIZE 6" kit. But in the mean time trying to see what I can do to get the extra height???

Yes, the Bilstiens have adjustable spring preload to give you some lift. However, you can't run them and a leveling kit. The angles would be too extreme and you probably couldn't even get the alignment close to specs.
Also DracoF150, do you have a 4x2? I don't think Rize makes a lift for 4x2's (but Fabtech and Pro Comp do).
