Talking Am I getting robbed?

I've made my decision, but I need to know if I'm getting robbed here. On my 04 4x2 S-Crew Lariat; I'm going to go with a 3" body lift, and 35x12.5 Pro Comp MT's. I got a quote from the local 4x4 shop, at $1900. This includes All parts, tires, and labor. I want to do it myself, to learn, but I'm military and don't have the time or resources. Is 1900 bucks too steep for this setup?

BTW, is this thing not the funniest thing you've ever seen?

$1900 seems a little steep but not bad. What is off, is your 35" tires. How do you plan to fit 35's on a 2wd truck with just a 3: body lift. When I just had the body lift alone I had 295(34's) and I rubbed at full crank of the steering wheel, and I have a 4wd. I think you might need to move down to 33's with just the body lift.

I would think you can. Also, that price does not seem too bad. A body lift on an 04+ is much more expensive then 97-03.

That price doesn't seem bad at all considering the tires are probably costing you $1000 or more alone. Do the leveling kit also, it will definitetly help you fit those 35" tires you're putting on. Also make sure you get some gap guards for the truck, nothing worse than a body lift and being able to see the huge gaps left behind.

What branch service you in?
