Ready Lift?
Ready Lift?
I am getting my 06 FX-4 leveled out with a 3" leveling kit from Ready Lift. Anyone have any experience with Ready Lift, good/bad? I am also getting a 1.5" AAL for the rear.

Looks good. I'd think that technology has been mastered by now as they've been doing the coil/strut spacer thing since the new trucks came out. Their claims aren't unreasonable.
The only thing I'd wonder is about the 3" of lift and how it'll affect the CV joints. I'm not qualified to make any bold predictions, but maybe others with a higher mechanical IQ here will chime in.
Where in MI are you from? U.P. here.

Northerner,
A lot of guys here have said that even the 2.5" may angle the CV joints a bit too much. Do some searching and you will find tons of info here. Good info.
I went with the 2" as you can see in my sig. I easily fit 34" tires on OEM wheels. No rubbing. I got the 1.5" AAL, too. IMO it serves 2 purposes. One is to add stiffness for hauling ATV, sled, or trailer. The other is that it looks better with the front lifted. I have had 2 F150's with front spacers and they both looked like the nose was too high up in relation to the rear, and it's even worse if you haul anything. Definitely get the AAL and you won't have this problem.
Anyway, I am in Brimley, which is about 12 miles north of Rudyard. I have a hunting camp north of Rudyard, off Tilson Road a ways. Where do you hunt?
