2007 F150 4x4 Help with aftermarket ???
Ok I just purchased a 2007 F150 4x4 in the white metallic, cannot rememer the exact name of color. Anyways I want to lift the truck and put some rims and tires on. I was thinking of putting a 6" lift and maybe just keeping the 20" stock rims for now and putting some tires on them for the time being. Can anyone tell me what it cost for a lift and which makers to use and which not to use. I need all the help I can get as I know NADA about trucks, but asking me about a sports car and I can tell you just about anything. Just traded in my 04 CTS-V to get the truck and have a 06 yamaha R6 for speed, so now need to get this truck in offroad form and have some fun. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. I am also in Houston, Texas if anyone knows of a place that is cheap or can do work or help install it would be greatly appreciated. As I am ready to get this thing up and going.
Thanks
Jet

Congrats on the new F150 and yours interests and also welcome to the site, your in the right place. I have a lifted truck and the "best" advice I can give you is use the search button "suspension lifts" or "6" lifts' or "lift kits" and you will be rewarded with 100's of pages of lift info, giving you hours of interesting reading. The best thing is making up your oun mind by researching as I did.
Good luck
